10 Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Christian Couples

by Jennifer Jolene Deal

I’ve been married 25 years now and trying to figure out meaningful, romantic gifts for my husband has always been a challenge. So this year, I’ve put on my creativity cap, picked the minds of some of other great gift-givers I know, and have come up with these fantastic ideas:

  1. Our Bucket List - Lately my husband and I have been talking about how we need to do more things together that are just plain fun and help us re-charge. I love this little book I found on Amazon! One of the things I often say is that if it’s not on the calendar, it doesn’t exist. The “Our Bucket List” book helps you purposely plan and put on the calendar the very things that you need to be doing as a couple!

  2. Tickets to an Event - Think about something that both you and your partner would both enjoy. If you both enjoy a good laugh, consider getting tickets to see some of these great Christian comedians: Tim Hawkins, Jeff Allen, John Crist.

  3. A Personalized “Life Verse” gift - More than likely, your significant other has a “Life Verse.” If you’re not sure, ask! There are so many ways you can create a meaningful gift by personalizing it with their verse. Here are a few options: (1) A Personalized Blanket from Zazzle (2) A Cross Necklace from Amazon (3) Choose from many options at The Personalization Mall

  4. Take a road trip! This is a great way to deepen your bond with your significant other and chances are there are great places to go visit within driving distance of where you live. Sometimes we overlook the great things to do that are just around the corner. I live in Ohio and some of my favorite road trip destinations in the cold weather are: The Air Force Museum, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Cleveland Museum of Art, and hitting the shops in Amish Country. I did a quick search for my state and found even more winter excursion ideas - 25 Things To Do in 2025: Winter in Ohio.

  5. Make a photo album of your memorable moments together. You can intersperse the album with verses and personalized quotes. Don’t worry if you’re not crafty! It’s easy to create albums with your digital photos on websites such as Walmart.

  6. Plan a double date with friends. Who says Valentine’s Day can’t be celebrated with a game and movie night with friends? If you’re looking for some Bible-based fun, check out these games: (1) The Bible is Funny (2) Taboo - Bible Edition (3) The Christian Meme Game

  7. Give them a personalized Bible. Here are my top picks: (1) NIV Study Bible (2) Perosnalized NIV Journaling Bible (3) Joy Creative Bibles

  8. Learn something new together! It could be cooking lessons, dance lessons, or taking a class that interests both of you. My husband and I are opposites in many ways, so it’s always special when we find something productive we enjoy doing together.

  9. Give the perfect Christian gift for a fashionable significant-other at Elevated Faith. Check out their curated Valentine’s page for men and women. Everything from jewelry to clothing!

  10. And finally, invite your loved one to read the Bible with you this year. You won’t regret it! It only takes 10-15 minutes a day to give you both something meaningful and spiritually fulfilling to talk about. You can give them the book or digital version of the Daily Bible in Chronological Order.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
